Privacy Policy

• You do not need an account to use RandomHub.
• The generators run in your browser. We do not save the words, names, numbers, or other results you generate.
• We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools are popular and to fix problems. GA4 sets cookies and collects anonymized usage data.
• Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps short-term server logs (IP, user-agent, request path) for security and reliability.
• This site uses Google AdSense for advertising. Google and its partners may set cookies and process device data to select and measure ads. Section 6 explains this and how to opt out of personalized ads.
• We do not sell your personal information for money.
• You have the rights described in section 9 (GDPR) and section 10 (CCPA).

We collect only what is needed to run and improve the site:

We do not collect your name, email, address, phone number, payment data, or any account credentials, because we do not offer accounts.

• Operate, maintain, and secure the website.
• Measure aggregate usage (e.g. which tool is opened most often) to decide what to build next.
• Diagnose errors and improve performance.
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and attacks against the service.
• Display advertising that keeps the tools free to use, as described in section 6.

Beyond the advertising described in section 6, we do not profile you or use your information for automated decisions that produce legal effects on you.

The cookies set when you visit RandomHub:

The Google Analytics cookies are first-party (set on the randomhub.io domain) and contain pseudonymous identifiers. The advertising cookies listed above are set by Google, and some of them are third-party cookies set on Google domains. You can block or delete any of them in your browser settings, use a content blocker, or use the official Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking these cookies will not break any of the generators.

• Vercel Inc. provides hosting and CDN. Vercel processes request metadata (IP address, user-agent) to deliver pages and protect the service. See Vercel Privacy Policy.
• Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) provides aggregated traffic analytics. See Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses analytics data.
• Google LLC (Google AdSense) selects, delivers, and measures the ads shown on this site. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Section 6 covers this in detail.
• Google Fonts delivers web fonts through next/font, which means fonts are self-hosted at build time. No request goes to Google’s servers when you load a page.

Apart from Google AdSense, we do not integrate with other advertising networks, social trackers, or data brokers.

RandomHub is free to use and is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense to fill the ad slots on our pages. We do not run any other ad network, and we do not pass your data to advertisers ourselves. Ad slots are not always filled, so the number of ads you see on a page can vary or be zero.

When an ad loads, Google receives the information needed to serve it: your IP address, user-agent, the page you are on, and approximate location derived from your IP. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies and similar identifiers to select ads, cap how often you see the same ad, measure performance, and detect invalid traffic.

Specifically: third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to RandomHub and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Your controls

• Everyone: you can turn off personalized advertising from Google at any time in Google My Ad Center. You will still see ads, but they will not be based on your interests.
• Opt out of third-party vendors: visit aboutads.info or Your Online Choices (EU).
• EEA, UK, and Switzerland: before any advertising cookie is set, we show a consent message built with a Google-certified consent management platform that supports the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. You choose there whether to allow personalized ads, and you can reopen that choice at any time from the privacy link in the site footer.
• Browser level: blocking third-party cookies or using a content blocker also prevents most ad personalization. None of the generators depend on advertising cookies.

We do not place ads inside the generator panels, and we do not reload ads while you stay on a page.

RandomHub is operated from outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Our processors (Vercel and Google) may transfer and process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, those transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards published by each provider.

Server logs are kept for up to 30 days for security and debugging. Aggregated GA4 metrics are retained according to the Google Analytics retention setting (currently up to 14 months). Advertising cookies expire according to the durations listed in section 4, and Google applies its own retention policy to ad request data. We do not store personal identifiers beyond these windows.

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you have the following rights regarding personal data we may hold about you:

• Access, to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification, to ask us to correct inaccurate personal data.
• Erasure, to ask us to delete personal data, subject to legal exceptions.
• Restriction and objection, to ask us to limit or stop processing.
• Data portability, to receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Because we do not collect names, emails, or account identifiers, in most cases the only personal data tied to you is short-lived log data, pseudonymous analytics identifiers, and advertising identifiers. Our legal basis for analytics and advertising in these regions is your consent, collected through the consent message described in section 6. To exercise any right, contact us at the address in section 13.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, showing personalized advertising through Google AdSense may qualify as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA.

To opt out, turn off personalized ads in Google My Ad Center, or send us a request at the address in section 13 and we will apply the opt-out. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where your browser sends them. We do not knowingly collect or share personal information from minors under 16.

RandomHub is suitable for general audiences and is commonly used in classrooms. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where the GDPR applies). We do not direct advertising to children and we do not enable interest-based advertising for users we identify as minors. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of RandomHub after the change is acceptance of the updated policy.
