How many teams are included?
The 2026-08-30 snapshot contains 30 NBA franchises: 15 in the East, 15 in the West, split across six divisions of five teams each.
Can the same team appear twice in one result?
No. One generation is a sample without replacement, so every team in that visible result is distinct.
Can a team appear again after I click generate again?
Yes. Each new generation starts from the current filtered pool, so a team from the previous result can appear in the next result.
What happens if I ask for more teams than a division has?
The page caps the result at the size of the filtered pool. A single division contains five teams, so it cannot return more than five.
Where do logos and colors come from?
Team names, abbreviations, colors, and logos are based on ESPN public team data. Logo images are loaded from remote ESPN sources, so they need network access.
